Sign up for four Tuesday evenings from 7.30 – 8.30 at Russagh Mill Hostel, beginning on 5th March.

The Stop Food Waste Challenge is a 4 week programme helping householders to reduce their food waste and save money. It is estimated that 1/3 of all the food bought in Ireland is thrown out, at an average cost per household of €700 per year.

The Challenge helps participants to make changes through simple steps such as

  • Meal planning
  • Savvy shopping
  • Good storage
  • Clever cooking and reuse
  • Composting
