Zero Waste Training 25/5/18

Zero Waste Workshop/Training May 25th.Become a Zero Waste Champion for West Cork.

Are you concerned with the global waste and plastic crisis and the impact it is having on our planet and on people? Would you like to know more about why this is happening and what you can do about it? Come along to this one-day workshop where you can improve your understanding of the situation and get the tools and connections to pass the message to others in your local community. This workshop is facilitated by a Dublin-based community organisation, LYCS, who are at the forefront in providing education on Zero Waste in Ireland.

The workshop will be very interactive, using lots of participative and fun tools to learn about zero waste, which you can then use in your own community groups and workshops. It will focus on the small personal changes individuals can make but also understanding the bigger global economic issues in a very accessible way. This free workshop is especially suitable for anyone who is in position to start educating and campaigning for waste reduction in their local communities.

Attend a special ‘Train-the-Trainers’ event for organisations and people who commit to paying it forward!
