World Peatlands Day is celebrated on the 2nd of June each year. Join us at www.facebook.com/events/647199509237411 Launched by the International Peatland Society (IPS) in autumn 2019. Correlates with the date when the draft constitution of the IPS was adopted at an international symposium in Aberdee...Anything you can do we can do better!! Actually it is a great example of energy conservation and reduction in CO2 emissions. They give percentages rather than actual figures though. Still its encouraging!
